Split into two distinct pieces, any Northern Territory holidays offer an amazing outlook on some of Australia's most remote cities, towns and attractions.
The top half of 'NT' is known as the 'Top End' and the bottom half is known as the 'Red Centre'. The 'Top End' is home to the capital city Darwin and World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, whilst the 'Red Centre' houses outback city Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Uluru (Ayer's Rock).
Darwin is a great place to start and end your Northern Territory holiday packages with a vibrant local community, great bars and pubs, a busy backpacker vibe and plenty of cheap accommodation. To full appreciate Kakadu National park during any Northern Territory holidays, visitors need to travel, take time and fully immerse themselves in the local aboriginal culture, the wildlife and diverse landscapes.
By contrast 'Red Centre' vacations offer a different experience for domestic holidays. Alice Springs has been home to Arrernte Aboriginal for 50,000 years and holiday deals showcase pioneering history and stunning rock and gorge formations. Unlike other Australian holidays, the best way to see the area on your cheap holidays is on a quad-bike, Harley Davidson or even from a hot air balloon. And at night, cheap accommodation is plentiful, as are outback pubs full of food and character.
Whatever end of the NT you choose for your Northern Territory holidays, you're guaranteed of an amazing experience.
