But what your Sunshine Coast holiday packages will lack in glitz, it will make up for in stunning scenery and chilled out places to relax, with varying vacations available from Noosa to Caloundra.
Noosa is one of the premium travel destinations for Australian holidays, but with plenty of room for those looking for cheap holidays. Hastings Street denotes the centre of Noosa with a number of small, cool bars and restaurants and the classy Rolling Rock nightclub. Behind the shops is the amazing Noosa beach, one of best places to learn to surf during your domestic holidays.
Further down the coast are the twin towns of Maroochydore and Mooloolaba, right next to each other. While the former is more the commercial and business centre, Mooloolaba is perfectly suited to Sunshine Coast holidays, with another great beach, a lengthy strip of bars and restaurants and a handful of busy clubs. There are plenty of hotels offering great holiday deals all year round.
Caloundra is the last city on the Sunshine Coast with several beaches, each with their own identity, and plenty of value accommodation. Caloundra is close by Steve Irwin's famous Australia Zoo.
