Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Guangzhou all have international airports that accept foreign air traffic; most of the other international airports only let planes from South Korea and Japan in. Budget seats can be a bit scarce on China flights, so it’s recommended to book early.
China travel highlights include the Great Wall, hang with some monks in Tibet, a quick paddle down the Yangtze river or hike up one or more of the dozens of sacred mountains.
