Flights from Australia to France will usually disembark at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), which is the main aviation hub in France and one of the busiest airports in Europe. To get from the airport to the Paris city centre, the fastest route is via the Rail link to Gare du Nord, which takes around 25 minutes, or by taxi, local bus and shuttle bus and then onwards by rail or plane to other regional centres and airports in France.

From Sydney to Paris, the flying time is between 23 to 30 hours, depending on the travel route and number of stopovers.
