Flights to Istanbul
The East meets the West in Istanbul, and it’s the fascinating marriage of cultures that makes this city one you simply cannot miss. If you’ve never heard of the Aya Sofya, that’s OK, perhaps you’re not an architecture major, but this innovative masterpiece is a sight to behold and is often the first to-do on the travel list of most visitors to Istanbul. Istanbul has a pretty mind-blowing skyline on the worst of days, but if you choose to see it from one of the terrace restaurants around Eminonu or Beyoglu, you will really know you’ve arrived – pencil that in. Don’t forget to lose yourself in the sights and sounds and smells of the Bazaar district, and don’t skimp on spending some time in the glamorous Kanyon, which is called chaotic for all of the right reasons. Student Flights can get you there cheaply, just ask one of our friendly consultants about cheap airfares to Istanbul.

Istanbul is where it all happens in Turkey and is the country’s most famous city, but not actually its capital, that mantle is reserved for Ankara - believe it or not. The city is built alongside the Bosphorus, which is a strait between the Black and Marmara seas, and you will find cultural splices of both Asia and Europe along its vibrant Istanbul shores. While in Istanbul, you should make time to check out what all the fuss about Turkish baths is really about and slip into the steam stream in hamams – a world-famous and historical Turkish bath. The food fare is mouth-wateringly delectable too, and you can choose to party all night at one of Istanbul’s superclubs in Ortakoy or Kurucesme where you will find other revellers indulging in the most chaotic clubbing experience of their lives - hands down.
