The 'Spice Island' is Grenada and has some of the most beautiful beaches to be found on your Caribbean holiday packages and with three more huge rum distilleries, look out for the famous River Antoine rum with 75% alcohol content.

St Lucia has a number of opportunities for those looking for good holiday deals, including self-catering beachfront apartments 'Village Beach Cottages' and both the sulphur springs and the rain forest should be visited.

Outside of these islands, further travel can take you to Jamaica, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago and even Puerto Rico. Caribbean international holidays offer some of the most relaxing destinations for any traveller.

As more of the islands open up for backpackers and budget travellers, the only thing to avoid on your Caribbean holidays is storm season.
