You will be gob smacked at the architecture of the Burj Al Arab, the world's tallest hotel and a stroll along Jumeirah Beach where the majority of hotels are situated will provide you with an afternoon of free entertainment.

Include Petra in Jordan as a definite place to visit when planning your Middle East holiday. This famous city is carved from stone and can only be entered on mule or by foot. Tucked beneath towering sandstone mountains, the Treasury is probably Petra's most famous sight. Carved from the sandstone this elaborate façade is worth more than just a few happy snaps and there are plenty of other elaborate tombs, temples and palaces that will take your breath away with their beauty and intricacy.
