The Work and Travel 12 Month Program is designed for those participants who are able to work the entire ski season (commencing in late November/early December and concluding in April). This visa obtained through The Working Holiday Club is known as a J1 Visa and is valid for twelve months. After the completion of the ski season, applicants are permitted to work and/or travel throughout the United States for a period of up to twelve months in total (inclusive of the time spent in the ski resort).

There are many job opportunities within the resort and some are offered in areas of hospitality such as waitressing, bartending and food service cashiers, as well as areas of guest services such as front desk and season pass sales. Due to visa restrictions, everyone wishing to partake in a working holiday in the USA must have a company to sponsor their J1 visa. The Working Holiday Club has been in this business for as long as anyone, and has a wealth of experience in dealing with any visa related issues. Choosing to go over on an WHC program also opens the door for participants to work at many otherwise unobtainable ski resorts and jobs.
