Winter Holidays

There are pretty much just two options for winter holidays depending on where you live; either find somewhere a lot warmer to spend the time or just embrace the cold and have some fun.
Winter holiday packages in Australia can take you skiing at Thredbo or put you back onto a beach in North Queensland. Want to forget its winter holidays at all? Aim for holiday deals in the Northern Territory and suck up the humidity.
New Zealand is going to be cold, so the only point of cheap holidays here at this time of year is to hit the snow in Queenstown or catch a rugby international. Poor imitations of the New Zealand accent are standard.
What's cold in the Southern Hemisphere is nice and warm in the Northern Hemisphere. While the rest of the country shivers, jump on a plane and go nuts in Ibiza for two weeks – beaches, beautiful people, pumping house music and packed parties. Just about anywhere in the Mediterranean will offer a better climate than cold Australian nights.
Another good choice for vacations is the US, with LA in the Summer the place to be. Once you've done the bars and tourist traps, travel north to Malibu for cheap accommodation at the Malibu Hotel or east to Las Vegas. Pool side at the Venetian in the summer is close to heaven.
Just pick a temperature and head off on the Winter holidays of your choice.

Are you looking to take a break from your university? Why not enlist in the Working Holiday Club 3-4 month Powder Pack to live and work abroad in the USA! Whether you are a recent or current university, TAFE or college student the Working Holiday Club Work and Ski USA Powder Packs are designed for you!
There is no better way for young Aussie's and Kiwi's to spend the upcoming summer break than calving it up at a world-class ski resort in the USA, and actually getting paid for it! Imagine waking up everyday to the sight of champagne powder, spectacular mountain views, and countless 'bluebird days' (no clouds). Not to mention the thriving social scene, the opportunities of national and international travel, and of course the prospect of improving your ski or boarding skills!
There are many job opportunities within the resort and some are offered in areas of hospitality such as waitressing, bartending and food service cashiers, as well as areas of guest services such as front desk and season pass sales. Due to visa restrictions, everyone wishing to partake in a working holiday in the USA must have a company to sponsor their J1 visa. The Working Holiday Club has been in this business for as long as anyone, and has a wealth of experience in dealing with any visa related issues. Choosing to go over on an WHC program also opens the door for participants to work at many otherwise unobtainable ski resorts and jobs.
