    Day 1 London to Paris
    We depart from London today and cross the English Channel on our way to Paris. Tonight sit back and enjoy a 'City Lights' tour.

    Day 2 Paris
    Today is a free day to explore Paris with its many cultural treats. Check out the artists work along the river, visit the Notre Dame and Musee D'Orsay, or wander down the Champs elysees. After dinner we end the day with an optional Seine River Cruise or cabaret show.

    Day 3 Paris to Swiss Alps
    Magnificent Swiss scenery is on display today as we travel to our base in the Swiss Alps.

    Day 4 Swiss Alps
    An optional excursion to the summit of the Jungfrau mountain, home of Europe's highest rail station anyone.

    Day 5 Swiss Alps to Venice
    A complete change in landscape and culture today, as we head to Venice. Be prepared for the breathtaking beauty of this amazing place - one that will not be forgotten.

    Day 6 Venice
    Time for Venice in depth There are two ways to really see Venice and today we do both - a walking tour to visit the sights such as the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square with its famous basilica, as well as a vaporetto ride on the Grand Canal to experience Venice from the water� an optional gondola ride is a must-do as well.

    Day 7 Venice to Munich via Austria
    A change of pace as we arrive in the capital of the Bavarian region of Germany. Munich has long been known for the annual Oktoberfest Beer Festival so tonight grab a stein and a traditional pork knuckle at one of Munich's famous beer halls.

    Day 8 Munich to Rhine Valley
    A day of discovery - medieval castles, vineyards and the mighty Rhine River. Tonight spend the night in one of the many castles along the banks of the Rhine.

    Day 9 Rhine Valley to Amsterdam
    Amsterdam beckons with its array of funky coffee shops, busy canals and literally millions of bicycles. Enjoy an evening taking in the atmosphere.

    Day 10 Amsterdam
    This morning we cycle around Amsterdam just like the locals. Spend the rest of the day checking out Amsterdam's museums or trendy cafes. Tonight there's a farewell dinner followed by an optional canal cruise.

    Day 11 Amsterdam to London
    We return to London today via the medieval city of Brugge. We arrive by early evening.

    Day 1 Rome
    We meet our Trip Leader this afternoon and be taken for a walking tour of Rome. Throw a coin over your shoulder into the magnificent Trevi Fountain, uncover the Roman Forum, climb the Spanish Steps and be in awe of the Colosseum. What a way to start our Topdeck Italian adventure.

    Day 2 Rome
    This morning we pay a visit to Vatican City, home to the magnificent St Peter's Basilica. No trip to Rome would be complete without a stop at the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel, home to Michelangelo's masterpieces. Explore on your own or take an optional guided tour. The rest of the day is free to explore Rome's landmarks, shops, or cafes.

    Day 3 Rome to Assisi
    We depart Rome and travel through mountain scenery as we make for Assisi, birth-place of the Franciscan friars. With our local Italian guide we visit the Basilica of St Francis with its magnificent frescoes, many dating back to the 14th century.

    Day 4 Assisi to Venice
    We pay a visit to the tiny country of San Marino, home to a striking castle, then head on to Maranello for an included visit to the Ferarri museum. Afterwards, we drive to Venice. Built on a network of canals, the 'floating city' is incomparable. This evening we settle in to our accommodation.

    Day 5 Venice
    You have a full day to enjoy Venice Our walking tour ends in Venice's famous St Mark's Square, where we'll see St Mark's Basilica and the Doges Palace. Our included gondola ride on the Grand Canal is the perfect way to see the city. Spend the rest of your day wandering down endless alleyways and over bridges, the best thing is to get lost.

    Day 6 Venice to Italian Lakes
    It's time to leave Venice, as we continue our journey up north to one of the most picturesque regions of Italy. The Italian Lakes District makes benefit of its nearby mountain conditions, as stunning clear blue Alpine waters are surrounded by sweeping hills, with villages nestled into the sides. Belissimo.

    Day 7 Italian Lakes
    Today is your free day to take in the beautiful surroundings of the Italian Lakes District. Explore this part of Italy that is known for being home to the rich and famous

    Day 8 Italian Lakes to Milan
    Onwards we head We then move along to Milan, arguably the world's fashion capital, with some of the world's best shopping. If shopping isn't your fancy, it also boasts an incredible Cathedral.

    Day 9 Milan to Florence
    It's time to whip out the cameras, as we stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Afterwards we drive to Tuscany, home to Chianti wine, where we can look forward to an included wine tasting. Our base tonight is Florence, capital of Tuscany and birthplace of the Renaissance.

    Day 10 Florence
    After breakfast, our walking tour with a local Italian guide takes in the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo Cathedral and the Uffizi Gallery. And while you're in the neighbourhood make sure to see Michelangelo's David Tonight your mission is to track down the best Florentine steak as we find our own dinner.

    Day 11 Florence to Rome
    Today we travel south and visit the city of Orvieto, famous for its food, wine and dramatic location - on top of the flat summit of a large volcanic mound. After some time to explore and grab lunch (the wild boar is particularly tasty), we return to Rome, and say our farewells as our Topdeck Italian adventure ends.

    Day 1 London to Paris
    We cross the English Channel and head for Paris where we take in the sights on a 'City Lights' tour.

    Day 2 Paris
    Stroll the Champs elysees or visit the Eiffel Tower. This evening there is an optional cabaret show or cruise on the River Seine.

    Days 3-4 Paris to Swiss Alps
    We depart for the gorgeous village of Lauterbrunnen in the Swiss Alps. Take an optional train ride to the Jungfrau mountain summit.

    Day 5 Swiss Alps to Florence
    First up Pisa and the iconic Leaning Tower, then Florence, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.

    Day 6 Florence
    Explore Florence with a local guide. Then check out Italy's excellent shopping and maybe even enjoy a Florentine steak.

    Day 7 Florence to Rome
    We stop at the quaint hilltop city of Orvieto en route to Rome. The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps can be seen on our walking tour.

    Day 8 Rome
    Today we visit Vatican City. The day is then yours to sightsee, shop, wine and dine.

    Day 9 Rome to Venice
    We stop in Verona, home to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. We then head to Venice.

    Day 10 Venice
    See St. Mark's Square and Basilica, the Doge's Palace and Rialto Bridge. Maybe take a gondola ride on the Grand Canal.

    Day 11 Venice to Salzburg
    Salzburg is famous as the home of Mozart and the 'Sound of Music'.

    Days 12-13 Salzburg to Prague
    We visit the former concentration camp of Mauthausen. Once in Prague, wander the Castle District, take in a marionette show or explore the Jewish Quarter.

    Day 14-15 Prague to Berlin
    First stop is Dresden before heading to Berlin. A driving tour takes in sights like the remainder of the Berlin Wall.

    Day 16 Berlin to Amsterdam
    In the liberal city of Amsterdam we visit the heart of the city and the infamous Red Light District.

    Day 17 Amsterdam
    This morning take an included bicycle tour of the city. After our farewell dinner there's an optional canal cruise.

    Day 18 Amsterdam to London
    Today we travel to Brugge before returning to London.

    Days 1-2 London to Paris
    Dazzling, glitzy, romantic, ah Paris. We'll soak up the city on a 'City Lights' tour this evening which showcases its famous hotspots. Savour free time on Day 2 to explore this European gem, admiring the Louvre, the Champs elysees or the charming Notre Dame. Later opt to take a bike tour around the city, followed by a delicious dinner and an optional visit to a cabaret show or a cruise on the River Seine. Bliss.

    Days 3-4 Paris to Swiss Alps
    Next up: the alpine beauty, Switzerland. This country literally oozes postcard-perfect scenery from every snow-capped mountain and majestic lake. The next day soak up the snowcapped scenery and enjoy a free day. Nestled in an alpine ski resort, we're in the ideal location for exploration and just a stone's throw away from incredible ski slopes.

    Day 5 Swiss Alps to Florence
    Viva Italia We make our way to the renaissance darling, Florence, a city bursting with arty treasures. Get a taste for all things Italian later as we try some local cuisine.

    Days 6-7 Florence to Rome
    Get to grips with Florence this morning on a tour with a local guide. Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce and the spectacular Duomo are all to be seen before we depart for the 'Eternal City', Rome Our walking tour visits all 'mustdos;' the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon to namedrop a few On Day 7 we'll tick-off Vatican City and you can delve deeper with an optional guided tour. The rest of the day is at your disposal, so get out there and explore bella Roma your way.

    Days 8-9 Rome to Venice
    After a quick stop in Verona, home to the tragic lovers Romeo and Juliet, it's off to Venice. We'll uncover enchanting Venice's myriad of alleyways and canals and admire the grand Basilica of St Mark's Square the next day. A 'Totally Topdeck' included gondola ride gives us the chance to enjoy the romantic Venetian mode of transport.

    Day 10 Venice to Salzburg
    Hello Austria Think Mozart, the Sound of Music, impressive architecture and a bucket-load of class and you have Salzburg in a nutshell.

    Day 11 Salzburg to Heidelberg
    Willkommen zum Deutschland. We head to fairytale Heidelberg, so prepare for castles, students and German beer.

    Days 12-13 Heidelberg to Amsterdam
    To off-the-wall, liberal and fun-loving; Amsterdam Tonight we can check out the heart of the city and meander through the Red Light District On Day 13 our included 'Totally Topdeck' bike ride is a great way to see Amsterdam local style After dinner opt to cruise the canals for another view of this vibrant city.

    Day 14 Amsterdam to London
    We stop in the Belgian beauty, Brugge before heading back to London where our trip finishes this evening.
