Ten minutes to the north east of Kelowna, British Columbia in Canada is the Kelowna Airport (YLW). The name Kelowna comes from a native name for grizzly bear – so wear your bear bells and watch out for the namesake!
The terminal is modern and features lots of local artwork. Everyone raves about the glass rotunda in the middle of the terminal which encloses the 'Escape from Stella Polaris' glass sculpture and fountain.
To get from Kelowna Airport (YLW) to the local area, pick up one of the Airporter Bus Services, hotel shuttles, grab a taxi or hire a car from the usual main car hire companies.
