Shannon Airport (SNN) is located at Shannon, County Clare in Ireland, near Ennis (don't say that after a few pints of ale) and Limerick City. This is the one of the busiest airports in Ireland and leads you into local scenery that makes Ireland famous.
Being honest, the town of Shannon is pretty darn small, so the buses very sensibly take you onto Limerick (25kms away) and Galway.
