Geneva Airport (GVA) is also known as the Geneva Cointrin International Airport and is located just 5kms from Geneva, Switzerland. Since the north part of the airport lies on the border with France it is possible for you to enter the airport from either France or Switzerland. In fact the airport is split it the French sector and the Swiss sector – and have different services in each area.
To get from the airport into Geneva you can take one of the brilliant trains (takes just eight minutes to Geneva's Cornavin central station), or one of the many buses or expressways that are connected directly to the airport.
The Geneva Airport (GVA) boasts excellent convention facilities and is also the seat of the Airports Council International or ACI.
