Jenny Devine - Travel Addict
If there is one thing in life I’m sure of, its that people with a passion for travel have an instant bond. It doesn’t matter where I am or who I’m with, when I start talking about my job, travel enthusiasts and I hit it off!
My name is Jenny Devine, and I feel it is my duty in life to share with you my insight into the Travel industry. That is why I am your new Social Media Specialist for Student Flights.
After working in the travel industry for 15 years I am a complete travel addict. I have worked, travelled and talked my way around many a destination. My best travel experience was the 6 months I spent wandering Europe. No commitments, just friends, fun and lots of good times!
I have been with Flight Centre Ltd for 5 years now, working in Marketing where I discovered social networking. I found so many other people with my passion for sharing their Travel knowledge and experiences, that I decided it would be selfish of me not to share my insight to the industry!
I believe that travel marketing is more than the most luxurious hotels or trendy tourist destination, I want to talk to real travellers, find out about their personal experiences, funny stories, once in a lifetime moments, and share them with you!
So heres my promise to you…
- I will keep you in the loop of whats happening in the world of travel.
- If there are any travel events happening around Aus (Expos, Info Nights) I will let you know.
- If there is an opportunity to WIN a holiday (or any random prize at all) through Student Flights, I will make sure you find out about it!
- I aim to be your first point of contact when planning a trip. Ask me, if I don’t know the answer I will find out for you.
So tune into our Student Flights blog, follow me on twitter, talk to me on the Student Flights Facebook page or the Student Flights Twitter. Lets get together and share our experiences and passion for travel.

A broke girl in Amsterdam
I’ll start off by leaving you completely gobsmacked. I did not ride a single bike in Amsterdam... EVER.
It feels good to get that off my chest. Although, there really would have been no time like the present in Amsterdam to actually learn how to ride a bike… hashtag hindsight.
The ins and outs of getting around Honkers
Twice as many skyscrapers as NYC. Flashing neon lights. Traffic whirring in every direction. Hong Kong can seem a little OTT at first. But once you know how to navigate the maze, zig-zagging your way around from sight to sight (and bite) starts to feel like second nature.
