Ski gear essentials
When it comes to enjoying your ski holiday, it pays to be prepared. While I’m sure some freaky people out there wouldn’t mind skiing in the nude, most of us require warm layers and the right equipment to enjoy a skiing holiday to its fullest.
- Ski socks
- Ski pants – must be waterproof
- Ski jacket
- Ski helmet or beanie
- Ski or snow board equipment (optional as you can always hire equipment)
- Goggles or sunglasses
- Backpack or ski bag
- Warm layers
- Clothes and shoes for when you’re not on the slopes
- Winter pyjamas
- Swimmers – in case you visit a spa
- Lip balm - cold winds can cause chapped lips
