About Busabout
For independent travellers, including backpackers, the Busabout Explorer is a great value, flexible way to get about in Europe. Buy a pass on the loop route of your choice, start from any European city on the loop and travel at your own pace. You can stay as long as you like at each stop, then when you are ready to move on, just jump on the next Busabout bus and hit your next destination.
Busabout Explorer passes operate from May to October, with departures from each city every other day. The bus network covers 33 destinations in nine countries across Europe and you can start and finish anywhere on the hop-on, hop-off network. Take a whirlwind tour or take your time!
Planning your Busabout Explorer trip is easy. Simply surf the Busabout website and decide where you want to go. For more information, read the destination guides that give great insights and helpful information on the fantastic cities covered by the Busabout Explorer network. You’ll also find contributions from Busabout guides letting you in on their Top 10 favourite experiences in each city to give you plenty of inspiration.
Once you have chosen your pass, you can start booking your accommodation and bus journeys through the My Trip section. Busabout Adventures also offer fun sailing trips around the beautiful Mediterranean islands of Croatia and great tours to Egypt. They’ll also take you to some of Europe’s incredibly fun festivals – from the massive beer halls of Munich’s Oktoberfest, to the wild and messy La Tomatina festival and exciting Pamplona Running of the Bulls in Spain.
