Broome Transport Guide
Broome has a local bus service, a few taxis and a bicycle hire shop, but other than that, you’ll be on foot or need to hire a car (go for the 4WD!) or a scooter to get you from A to B.
How to get around Broome
The Town Bus Service runs from Chinatown to Cable Beach every hour during the day from mid-October to May, and the Nightrider service runs every half-hour until midnight. Broome Broome (yes, that’s not a typo) hires cars, 4WDs and scooters at reasonable prices, or you can hire a bicycle from Chinatown or Cable Beach. You can book a taxi through one of the two local providers in town, but for longer trips however you’re going to need some wheels or friends with wheels.
