Cheap flights to Amsterdam
There is no place in the world quite like Amsterdam. This historically liberal city floats on a network of manmade canals. Explore a maze of cobblestone streets, walk past heritage-protected buildings, through quality museums, or duck into some famous ‘coffee’ shops and the Red Light district. Many travellers come to experience the relaxed laws on soft drugs and the sex industry but end up falling in love with its beautiful scenery, tolerant vibe and welcoming locals. Our Student Flights consultants can get you there on the best priced flights and inform you on all the hotspots and the secret spoils Amsterdam has to offer. Plus, students, teachers or anyone under 26 can take advantage of even cheaper deals with our Black Market Flights.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), Luchtaven Schipol in Dutch, is the main airport of the Netherlands located 9 kilometres southwest of Amsterdam. Despite the small size of Amsterdam, it is ranked the sixth busiest international airport in the world. The airport has its own rail station, which connects to downtown Amsterdam in around 20 minutes. The rail station also offers other services to destinations such as Antwerp, Brussels and Paris. Multiple bus services connect the city centre and the airport. Taxis are also available but take twice the time and can cost 10 times the price of a train. Speak to your Student Flights consultant to see if your hotel offers shuttle services or to organise a private transfer.
