Cheap flights to Barcelona
What is the most visited tourist attraction in Barcelona? An unfinished church called La Sagrada Familia. Why? Construction of the church started more than 100 years ago by Antoni Gaudi, but it never got finished, and Gaudi died after he was hit by a tram. The unfinished masterpiece attracts more than 3 million visitors per year and it can take up to an hour just to get inside, but the wait is worth it and no trip to Barcelona is complete without checking it out. Barcelona is a modern and dynamic city, with echoes of the past clearly visible from every corner. People stay out late and sleep in late in this city and if you’re a uni student, this might just suit you perfectly with lunch usually scheduled between 2pm and 4pm and nightclubs really only beginning to pump at about 3am. Student Flights can help you bust out moves on a Barcelona dancefloor by offering cheap flights, and if you’re under 26, a student or teacher, you will save even more with our Black Market Flights.
Barcelona’s International Airport (BCN) located in El Prat de Llobregat, an area14 kilometres southwest of downtown Barcelona. Sitting on the east coast of the country, it is Spain’s second busiest airport and the major airport servicing the Catalonia region. The airport has a rail station that offers services into the city’s main rail station, Barcelona Sants, or to Passeig de Gracia station for connections onto the metro system. Barcelona’s metro system then stretches out to most regional areas of the city. TMB run local buses from various points in the city to and from the airport. There are also some shuttle bus services to and from downtown Barcelona. Taxis are a fairly cheap and very convenient option for groups.
