Dublin is the capital city of Ireland and is home to nearly 2 million locals. Check out the history of the Vikings and their settlements in the city as you take in the rich history and understand its unique orientation. Don’t forget to pack plenty of warm clothes too - an afternoon circumnavigating the city can whip up a fair bit of cold winded Irish weather frenzy. You might need to come prepared with your longjohns, as even when the sun is out, the wind chill is usually not too far behind. Ramble through prehistoric Ireland at the National Museum of Archaeology and head down to Trinity College to demystify science, but don’t forget to build all of this around regular stopovers at Dublin’s friendly pubs – this is the most energetic pub crawl city you will ever find yourself in, so make the most of the opportunity.
