Dubrovnik Airport (DBU) is one of Croatia’s most popular arrival destinations for Australians. The Airport is located around 15 kilometres from downtown Dubrovnik near Cilipi, as is often referred to as Cilipi Airport by locals. Dubrovnik airport is Croatia’s newest and most modern facility. Atlas Agency run a shuttle service from the airport to the main bus station of Dubrovnik. Services are available for all arriving flights and take around 30 minutes. There are multiple flight paths connecting Australia and Dubrovnik. It will be necessary to make two stop-overs along the way. Depart from Brisbane or Sydney and choose to have your first lay-over in Bangkok, from which Croatia can be reached through Vienna, Austria with a total flight time of just over 21 hours. An alternative path from Melbourne or Perth is to first fly to Doha, Qatar then onto London, England and finally a short connecting flight to Dubrovnik. Flight time via this path from Melbourne is around 24 hours or 21 hours from Perth. Long international flights will be catered with a selection of food and drinks.
