Cheap flights to Osaka
Osaka is an underrated travel destination – if you’re in Japan, you absolutely must make the time to go there or else you’re seriously missing out. Osaka is the place to see the infamous cherry blossoms during the Japanese spring, and is located in the heart of the Kansai region just over an hour away from Kyoto. A picturesque location, you won’t be able to go to Osaka without a trip to Dotonbori and Namba – the pleasure and theatre districts – complete with plenty of neon lights and seedy sights. For something more wholesome head to the Sumiyoshi-taisha Shrine, which is one of the oldest shrines in the world and heavily frequented by locals. If you are interested in sampling Japanese baseball, check out a game in Nishinomiya, just outside of Osaka – Koshien stadium is the most likely pick.
