New York, New York by Renee Kelly

If you’re in New York, get out of Times Square! Although the city sights like Central Park and the Statue of Liberty are amazing, the best day out is over the Brooklyn Bridge.

Central Park

Take a one hour metro ride to Coney Island where freak shows are common place, shooting a live human target is allowed - OK, maybe not your thing, but riding ‘The Cyclone’ a must! Built in 1927, this old wooden roller coaster is easily the most terrifying I have been on, but so much fun! The rickety structure and basic roller coaster carriages make it a terrifying and exhilarating experience! For just $8 and less to ride again and again, I don’t remember the last time I screamed and laughed like that day! I highly recommend that you take the train out of Manhattan and see the New York most tourists miss!
