Paul's American adventure - Part 1
Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name’s Paul Ellender. I’ve only been at Student Flights for around 6 months so far, so I’m fairly new in the grand scheme of things. My job entails sitting on Facebook all day. Yep, you read it right – I monitor the company’s social media channels. Way cool . . I know! I can’t believe they actually pay me to do this.
Forget work though, I’m about to embark on the holiday of a lifetime. I’m off to the US of A with some of my bestest friends in the world. They’ve actually left already on a Contiki tour from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. I dread to think what they’re getting up to.
Vegas baby! That’s where my trip will officially kick off. Can’t friggen wait! Last time I was there I was with my mum. Bless her, she isn’t the most party hard person, so this trip probably won’t be quite the same as last time. After Vegas, the mischief will only continue as we fly, drive, swim and maybe even hitchhike (just kidding mum) across the vast countryside of America.
Big shout out to my Student Flights consultant Janna Craig from the Sunnybank store (insert shameless plug), she’s amazing! Without her, my friends and I would probably have been too lazy to organise the trip at all, or perhaps ended up sleeping on a park bench . . again!
Anyway, pretty much just wanted to introduce you to my little escapade, coz I plan on bringing you more! Hopefully I’ll be able to upload some of our shenanigans real time . . . as they happen - well as soon as my hangover subsides I guess.
Keep an eye out for more over the coming weeks!

Wish me luck!

There's an Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and it's everything you'd imagine it to be....
Even if you’re not arty, you’ll recognise the work of Andy Warhol. As the granddaddy of pop art, Warhol is responsible for the cartoon Campbell soup cans, the neon-hued mug shots of Marylin Monroe that spawned a gazillion filters, and a twelve foot painting of Elvis.
