Our top five student summer holidays
You don’t have to be a student to book with Student Flights, but sometimes it helps, particularly when it comes to flights. If you’re a full time student, under 26 years of age or a teacher, you are privy to our exclusive and seriously cheap Black Market flights.
At the moment we are selling black market flights for February and March next year, aka the perfect time to recover from New Years’ hangover and enjoy some ultimate relaxation before semester one kicks off and you’re back to the daily grind before you know it. So while the mid semester break is here, take a moment to contemplate and get motivated for your next trip. If you start saving now, an island holiday could only be a few months away.
Here are our dream summer destinations that black-market flights can get you to:
It’s a favourite for Australians and for good reason. Bali is, to put it simply, stunning. Beautiful beaches, magnificent resorts, lush hinterland. While the stretch of bars and clubs along Kuta will show you a good time, if you’d rather relax than rev up, consider exploring the hinterland, opting for a cheap and cheerful stay in the creative hub of Ubud. Then again, luxury is within reach in Bali also. Check out our Bali holiday packages, where you can stay at a hotel and spa or beach side resort for a fantastic price.
Only a few hours plane ride away, Fiji will open your mind up to the way life should be; fresh food, fantastic scenery and welcoming hearts. This South Pacific island has long been a popular tourist destination, but much of Fiji remains untouched, allowing you to experience a raw and rugged island holiday. Swim under water falls, snorkel vibrant reefs, drink Kava with friendly locals. Budget resorts and fantastic natural attractions make Fiji an ideal destination to unwind and enjoy.
To combine your island holiday with a dose of unique culture, Phuket is the place to be. The heavenly Thai island has many claims to fame; lush rainforest, turquoise waters, white sand, budget resorts and of course – fantastic food. Cheap holidays also come easily here. Street food is easy on the pocket and along with our budget resort packages, a luxury resort stay is possible for a student.
For two holidays in one, Hawaii combines an island getaway with a dose of Americana. That’s right, you can have your island swim with a side of chilli fries. Granted, a holiday in Hawaii costs a little more than our Asian and South Pac neighbours, but its beaches, nightlife and hinterland make it all worth it. It should be noted that Hawaii is much more of a party destination – even the most head strong detoxers will find the cheap cocktails and beach parties hard to resist. So if you’re looking to let loose before the new semester starts, Hawaii should be on your shortlist.
If you’re budget can stretch a little further, consider jetting off to Rome. It’s not as expensive as it sounds, but just as much fun as you can imagine. If you book with our Black Market flights for February and March, you will be there in Rome’s cooler months, but then again the city’s average during this period is a moderate 13 degrees; still warm enough to enjoy scooter rides, gelato and a wander through the spectacular Colosseum.
